N.A.S.O. Facts

The Native American
Student Organization was founded at Lake Superior State University in 1989.

N.A.S.O. was formerly
known as the Native North American Student Council, which was the first
Native student group at Lake State.

Our current membership
has members from a variety of majors, from Computer Science and Biology to Criminal
Justice and Business Administration majors.

The population of Native American students at LSSU is
approximately 10% each year.

Our meetings are held
in the Native American Center (Eskoonwid Endaad) on Mondays at noon.
We also have potluck lunches every second Wednesday at the Native American Center
at noon.
